Twenty Eight spirits aims to be an environmentally friendly spirit using locally grown botanicals from the New Forest creating the best flavours available.
Our range of gins have been created using innovative distillation techniques. We have utilised vacuum distillation at cold temperatures, and botanic steam baskets, allowing for the freshness of certain botanicals to be more present. Specific botanicals have been carefully chosen to compliment the percentage alcohol charge of the still, and the cutting point of the distillation. This ensures a premium flavour in the hearts of the distillation .
The process has been developed through the head distiller and founder, Tom’s academic research on botanicals interaction alongside the use of high quality ethanol spirit, has given the scientific process that makes Twenty Eight unique. By infusing science, flavour and hand picked botanicals, brothers, Tom and Jonny have created a high quality range of spirits.
London dry gin -This gin has been scientifically distilled to bring the best out of the botanicals from our nursery. An initial warmth of juniper expands with the sweetness of hibiscus and liquorice. Accompanying citrus notes provide an eccentric zest to harmonise the eight other botanicals.
Sloe gin – With a warm sweetness from hand picked sloes, this gin finishes with a subtle bitterness that leaves you wanting more. The sloes have been left to sit in the gin till it’s perfect to taste, no matter the time taken. Sometimes sloer is better
Blackberry gin – A gin with strong juniper flavour in the forefront with citrus and sweet notes building slowly from the lemon and hibiscus, finishing with a beautifully smooth Blackberry taste. This gin will make you nostalgic for those late summer evenings.
