Archangel Gin is a small batch distillery in Dunton, Norfolk which only produces 300 bottles in each batch. But, we picked our bottle up at the Rutland Christmas Fair. This gin uses locally sourced botanicals including sea buckthorn and local juniper with the other botanicals being verbena, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and cardamom.
The gin is even finished with Walsingham water which makes this a full flavoured gin with a beautiful smooth finish. A fab gin that you can drink neat over lots of ice or long with a good tonic and a slice of orange. It has a healthy 45% ABV too. Like a lot of gins these days the price is average around the £39 mark.
