Our independent distillery is situated on Holmes Farm, nestled in the beautiful landscape of rural Lancashire, in the charming, historical village of Brindle. Watch our short film ‘Inspired by the Past.
We apply the same hard working attitude to making spirits as we do to our farming.
From early starts growing crops in our fields to the satisfaction we get writing batch numbers on our bottles – we’re able to oversee the entire process, being hands-on at every stage to create truly artisan spirits made with the kind of dedication, care and passion you’ll only find down on Holmes Farm.
I’ve tasted all of Cuckoos Gins but this one I keep coming back too. Made with the finest botanicals locally produced this bottle is a real beauty. Mark & Tom and their team have produced something quite special here. On the nose strong juniper still plays the leading role, whilst lemon & raspberries come through. To taste *honey & raspberries make your tastebuds explode. Whilst vanilla gives a sweet and smooth finish. *The honey that goes into their gin is made by their bees which are kept on the farm ( In partnership with the Bee Sanctuary Samlesbury).
The distillery based on a farm in Brindle, Seats itself within the heart of the community. It has its own bar known as “The Cuckoos Nest” where you can enjoy a gin or two. Live entertainment is sometimes on and best of all you can have a bite to eat too. Linked in are some hot food providers based in and around Lancashire. Brindle Distillery also does tour evenings and make your own gin nights too. I’ve been to both and they’re exceptionally good value, such fun and a really nice evening. Everything about this product and its distillery is so natural and local. You can really tell they are the heart of this community.
