Only from the heart of the Outer Hebrides, our smooth, complex and refreshing spirit captures the maritime nature of our island home. Infused with local Sugar Kelp seaweed alongside 8 carefully chosen botanicals, our spirit brings life to summer days.
I was bought the Isle of Harris gin and hi-ball glasses set by my sons for Mother’s Day. It’s not one I’d have bought by myself as it’s an the pricey side but I’m so glad my boys bought it. It’s so delicious and smooth. It needs nothing but itself and a light tonic as the gin just sings. The glasses are so special too. Everything comes sustainably packaged and it’s very environmentally friendly. This is probably my favourite gin that I own. I would buy it for the price, as I think it’s totally worth it!
So head on over to their webpage and get it in your basket, you’ll be glad you did.
The winner of the Scottish Gin Society consumer choice award for the 3rd year in a row as the nation’s favourite Scottish gin. Isle of Harris Gin is the first spirit release from their distillery. A beautifully designed bottle captures the elemental nature of the Isle of Harris, while its contents reward the discerning gin drinker with maritime pleasures. The inclusion of local, hand-harvested Sugar Kelp speaks of the island’s deep connections to the sea while working with eight other carefully chosen botanicals.
I followed their recommended Harris Highball serve of Walter Gregor’s cucumber and mint tonic water, 3-5 drops of Sugar Kelp Aromatic Water and garnishing with a sprig of mint. This was purchased as a beautiful highball glass, and Aromatic Water gift set so was a little more expensive than just the gin on its own.
