Poseidon Dry Gin is the first Dutch Premium Gin to be distilled with Wakame Seaweed. The use of 12 botanicals makes it a fresh, complex and layered Gin with a silky soft (Seaweed) heart and a spicy finish, which will positively surprise any Gin lover!
Poseidon Dry Gin is distilled in Schiedam (The Netherlands), was invented in Leidschendam, and set foot ashore in March 2019.
The company Seven Seas Spirits from The Netherlands wanted to capture the essence of the maritime passion and translate that into an outstanding Gin to enhance a favourite cocktail or to be enjoyed on the rocks.
The combination of knowledge and effort, over 40 different ingredients, recipes and after numerous variations, the right combination of botanicals was found.
In the beginning of 2019 in The Netherlands, a harmonious balance was found and Poseidon Gin set foot into the world.
12 botanicals from around the world were used to create Poseidon Dry Gin: Wakame Seaweed, Rosemary, Cardamom, Elderflower, Rosehip, Liquorice, Ginger, Grains of Paradise, Cubeb Berries, Lemon Peel, Coriander Seeds and Juniper Berries.

Poseidon Dry Gin is intriguing and vibrant, but at the same time it is soft, delicate and elegant. It’s versatile, ever changing and you never really know what to expect, just like the sea.

Wishing to create the perfect serve, use:
– 50ml Poseidon Dry Gin
– 100ml Fresh Tonic
– Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of lemon
And don’t forget loads of ice 😉

1 Review for Poseidon Dry Gin

A taste of the Sea
5.0.0

Named after the Greek God of the Sea and containing botanicals such as Wakame seaweed, rosemary, liquorice, rosehip, ginger, elderflower, grains of paradise, cubeb berries, cardamom, lemon peel, coriander seeds and juniper berries. Starting with fresh citrus and spicy finish. It uses distinctive Wakame seaweed to give a crisp but subtle hint of the sea. On the nose it starts with ocean freshness followed by intense juniper and warm spices. On the palate the juniper makes way for the Wakame seaweed to give a real taste of the sea, with a surprising sweet hint at the end. At the finish warm lingering spices finish off the gin, with a pleasant but subtle touch of pepper I served with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic and garnished with a wedge of fresh lemon and a sprig of mint This gin can be shipped to the UK using the link in their website that takes you so a site called Whiskysite. nl. The 700ml bottle currently retails at €36.99 and shipping to the UK costs €19.95
