If you have tasted their gins before why not leave a review below?
Wessex Gin Its a Family-run distillery based in Surrey. I first discovered their gin on the website of craft gin club. And from there i’ve found there online website and social medias.
They are very interactive and have great customer service. All their gins are created in a 240- Lite, cooper top pot still named Toby -which is named after their grandma. how sweet is that! Now i have to mention their bottle design as its just one of my fravourite bottles. They all are all made from recycled glass moulded into a Wessex form shape. That shape to look like potion bottles in bright beautiful colours ( ive post a pic of my upcycled bottle). The cork is also made from reformed cork, that gives and awesome “POP” when pulled.
Wessex gin is exceptionally smooth gin. A london dry gin defined by piney juniper berries and a citrus earthy twist. Which is trying to bring you back to the time of the King of the Anglo-Saxons. When trying this on its own you can taste the inital famous botanical of juniper berry, but left with a sweet citrisey/honey after taste, with only a slight warmth.
I enjoyed this gin just served with a simple tonic and found that a garish or lemon and coriander seeds really complimented it. At the price of £28 for a craft bottle of gin its 100% worth having on your self at home.
