I was very kindly gifted a bottle of this amazing gin, the lovely people from Worthing gin contacted me and the bottle arrived the next day, how good is that for customer service?
This is probably one of the smoothest gins i have tired and would be a good gin for anyone just starting on their gin journey. Its a Sussex dry gin infused and distilled by the sea, and whilst drinking it you can imagine been sat on the beach. It’s a very easy drinking and would make a good sipping gin. Botanicals include angelic root, sweet orange, coriander & rosemary giving it a unique flavour. Because of the smoothness of this gin it goes down very easy but be aware it has an ABV of 40%.
This gin is handcrafted and distilled in small batches bottle size is 50 cl and price is £.38 (July 2020), The bottle is nothing out of the ordinary a lovely size that sits on the gin shelf nicely, the colours on the label again take you to sea. They also do a lovely branded glass.
This is also a great gin for cocktails and you follow Worthing gin’s social media pages they have a cocktail making videos with Paul Martin. If you visit Worthing seafront look out for Gin Genie their gin van and grab yourself a g&t you won’t regret it. Phil the guy behind the brand has a fantastic sense of humour (check out his videos).
He certainly helps lighten up lockdown. Perfect serve would be a good quality plain tonic, lots of ice and a or orange. Writing this is really making me want to pour one.
